Vermont legislators have finally sent two very important bills to the desk of Gov. Phil Scott! The bill to legalize and regulate sales (S. 54) and the bill to automatically expunge records for past cannabis misdemeanor offenses (S. 234) both passed the Senate in a final vote on September 22 and will soon proceed to the governor’s desk. Soon, both bills will proceed to Gov. Phil Scott’s desk, where he will have five days to either veto or sign them.
